(NLGS): 3rd draft for review

The BCSA have produced their 3rd Draft of the NLGS which is intended to be comparable to the NSSS for Hot Rolled Steel in terms of it will be specified as part of contracts in much teh same way as the NSSS is now. To this end it's worth taking the time to read and comment before it comes out and forced upon you.
The BCSA are asking for comment on the NLGS by the 1st of December this year (2023). The National Specification of Light Gauge Steel Framing (NLGS): 3rd draft for review can be downloaded from our website and the feedback / comments added to the word form here.
Remember the NLGS is about erection and construction NOT design or calculations.
The BCSA is now acting as the Trade Body for Load Bearing Light Gauge Steel so if you want to be part of any future developments then you might consider joining the BCSA.
