Details of the 8th NHBC / SCI manual we've produced in 8 years - congratualtions to Redbrooks Ltd for gettig their accreditation
MMCEngineer Ltd are pleased to announce that we have completed another NHBC stage 1 manual for one of our client’s Redbrooks Ltd. This is the 8th such manual we’ve produced for clients over the last eight years! The Redbrooks Light Gauge Steel system is certified to seven stories with maximum clear spans of 7.35m for load bearing light gauge steel under NHBC Chapter 6.10 requirements and covers
:
Roofs
Intermediate floors
Walls
Lintels
Bracing
The Redbrooks system covers all four profiles manufactured by Redbrooks – 75, 89, 100 and 200mm from 1.2 & 1.6mm gauge.
We are working together on a scheme in Ashford, Kent with seven blocks of three and four storey apartments as well as various other projects including a leisure facility refurb with a hipped roof, a flat roof and connecting to existing adjoining buildings roofs, walls that don’t line through carried on light gauge steel floors and lots of other challenging details. All sandwiched between other buildings on a tight site in the middle of a busy high street!
