We are working with the SCI and members of the Light Steel and Modular Framing Group which meet twice yearly. We are checking guidance, to be published in April 2011 by the SCI under their banner, on the upcoming Eurocodes for light gauge steel. EC3 was useable from April 2010 for all Government work such as schools, hospitals and social housing, and the date for the Building Regulations update has been set back to 2013. Stephen Napper is now part of the 'working group' on the Eurocodes development at the SCI.
